Massa wins Turkey Cliffhanger

Massa won the race quite comfortably , however it was evident the formula one driver's championship race will go to the wire. In the end it was michael attacking and Alonso defending, but alonso was just able to hold back the flying german.

Villenneuve does some self pity

Some selected quotes from an interview Jacques gave

"Michael isn't a great champion because he's played too many dirty tricks and isn't a great human being," Villeneuve said in a scathing personal attack.

"He's a racer - but a pure racer, nothing but a racer and, because of that, I think the day he hangs up his helmet people will just forget him.

"Senna, by contrast, will never be forgotten. Some of that is the James Dean factor, of course, because he was killed in action at a young age, but not all of it.

"I don't even think Michael will live on in people's memories as strong or as long as [Alain] Prost has - certainly not as strong or as long as [Nigel] Mansell has.

"Those people attained a hero status that Michael never has and never will."

"So, unlike Michael, who ridiculously insisted he was innocent at Monaco this year, Senna said, 'Yes, I did it. But I told you before the race that I was going to do it.'

"That's very different from what Michael did at Monaco and Jerez [in 1997] and Adelaide [in 1994 where he collided controversially with Damon Hill].

"Senna wasn't lying to the fans. Michael was. And the sad thing is that, of course, the fans accept it - they swear black is white, in fact - just so that they can go on respecting the sport they love. And Michael takes advantage of that loyalty."

"He lies not only to fans but to his fellow drivers, too," said Villeneuve.

"At the GPDA meeting at Silverstone he lied to us and he didn't even have the decency to appear embarrassed about it. He just stared in our eyes and lied.

"And we all knew we were being lied to but very few of us bothered to say anything.

"It's quite sad, really - because the reason Michael did what he did is that he thinks he's better than the rest of us.

"He thinks he's bigger than the sport, too, but he isn't. And when he retires, and no-one really remembers him, that will become clear."

All the more reason to hate Villeneuve , Bye Villeneuve , F1 wasnt made for you

This Week in Formula One

F1 Engines to be 'Fuel Efficient'
FIA has announced that it will write the Technical Regulations again in a manner to promote Fuel Efficiency from the 2009 F1 Season.

Villeneuve No More
Jacques Villeneuve seems to be headed no where, he recently parted ways with the BMW Formula One Team.

Coulthard and Webber for Red Bull
Coulthhard and Webber have been signed by the Red Bull Formula One team, but poor Christian Klien is left with no team. Webber was replaced at Williams by Alexander Wurz, poor Narain Karthikeyan wasnt given a chance to display his skills, In my humble opinion , Nico better watch out, after an impressive start he is yet to do anything substantial.

We have won the race not just through speed but through strategy

Honda's Jenson Button

F1 reduced to a SHAM !!!!

First it was Alonso, one thought its a one-off incident, but now Michael Schumacher too, something's fishy in the world of Formula One, stewards in Hungary seem to be dishonest people to me, my feelings were echoed by Flavio Briatore too who claimed that FIA was involved in race-fixing to help those teams who didn't win (McLaren)

I wont write anything else right now as i am too disgusted of what has happened. It would have been one of the greatest pole positions for Schumi. Kimi seemed to be very 'happy' and said he had a good chance(yeah, take out massa too and your team will surely win) .

# 10-place penalty for unscheduled engine

##Given a two-second penalty

### Drops a place after impeding another driver in qualifying

Alonso's getting Frustrated, Gets in Trouble

Looks like poor Alonso will have to wait some more time to make a comeback, he suffered a 2 second penalty at Hungary for a deliberate brake test and for overtaking under a flag on Friday's second practice session.

Alonso was penalised one second for overtaking during yellow flags were bring waved to indicate danger during Friday's practice.

The second incident saw him lock horns with Red Bull test driver Robert Doornbos.

He had trouble overtaking Doornbos on the start finish staraight, when he did so , he weaved in front of doornbos and braked hard, the accident was averted by Doornbos's quick thinking , he avoided the collision. Alonso later said he wanted to remind Doornbos to use the rear view mirrors, however the stewards were not so pleased and handed him a penalty of another 1 second.

In my opinion , its the end for Alonso, frustration seems to have got the better of him, no matter how much he claims that he is unaffected by his lead being cut short the truth is that he is scared, and in his opinion its time for desperate measures.
